The downy undercoat of the Muskox, is as soft as any South American exotic (compare to vicuna or guanaco!) We have three styles - 100%, 50% - with 50% Merino wool, and a soft melange of 30% Q, 20% silk, 30% alpaca and 20% Merino! In natural color - a soft latte.
Yarn Bowls are here!
Ellen Childress - Whistle Creek Pottery in Plains, Montana, made these for us! We also have the cutest knitting-sheep bowls, made by Hal Mathew right here in Missoula! Come see!
What, you may ask, is a yarn bowl? It is a nifty and decorative way to keep your ball (or two) of yarn in one place whilst you tug on it and knit happily. These are heavy enough, and large enough to accomodate a 4 oz ball of yarn (most yarns, anyway) and each have a hole and a slot, so you could use them with two balls. Only $35, they are a lovely gift for your favorite knitter (crochet-y types like them too.)!
